The Ploum High Back Sofa was designed by brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Ligne Roset. Based in Paris, the brothers have been working together for over 15 years. They have committed to working on projects only if they find them both interesting and inspiring. This personal policy has helped propel them into becoming critically acclaimed designers.
The Ploum sofa was designed with comfort in mind. It’s ultra-soft foam and stretchable covering are meant to perfectly support both sitting and lounging. To make the sofa even more cozy, Ronan and Erwan intentionally designed the sofa to be asymmetrical, with one backrest slightly higher and one seat slightly deeper.
