Giuseppe Viganò is an Italian designer who began his career working in prestigious Brianza, Italy showrooms. In 1988, he branched out on his own and began to art direct for some of Italy’s best-known furniture companies, consulting on exhibition layouts and catalog design. In 2012, Viganò opened his own studio, and has since continued both his furniture design and brand consulting.
Viganò created the LOL:) Armchair for Arketipo in 2015. He drew inspiration for the design from chat language — young, fresh, and informal. This unconventional chair is loved for its informality, comfortability, and resemblence of a semi-closed flower.
