Better With Age: Madelynn Hudson

What if the people on MTV Cribs had invested in timeless statement furniture and decor instead of Bentleys and a fridge full of energy drinks? You’d get Better With Age, a peek inside the homes of notable designers and tastemakers who share a love of all things pre-loved.

Our twenty-fifth episode features Madelynn Hudson, a designer and tastemaker who lives in a 1910 Brooklyn limestone townhouse with her husband and their Great Dane puppy, Sybil. She describes her design style as “textured, layered, and collected, with art deco and mid-century touches.”

Throughout the years, she has created a community inspired by her approachable style – in both design and fashion. In 2019 Madelynn launched a boutique interior design studio, MADÉ Interiors, and her work has been published in Domino, Architectural Digest, and more. In the fashion world, she has garnered relationships with top fashion houses such as Givenchy, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Loewe, among others.

Tour her home and check out her favorite old things – including two 1960s Pipistrello Lamps, a vintage travertine coffee table, and a set of Joseph Hoffman Dining Chairs found on Kaiyo.
