Better With Age: Annette Vartanian

What if the people on MTV Cribs had invested in timeless statement furniture and decor instead of Bentleys and a fridge full of energy drinks? You’d get Better With Age, a peek inside the homes of notable designers and tastemakers who share a love of all things pre-loved.

Our thirteenth episode features Annette Vartanian, a vintage expert and lifestyle blogger. She launched her blog in 2010 in an effort to have a place to share her love of vintage shopping. What transpired was an entire community willing to invest and trust in her fashion picks, interior decor styling and recommendations for conscious and sustainable living. In 2021 she launched, The Splendor Collective, a subscription service where she shares her most coveted vintage tips, virtual shopping experiences, curated shopping picks and private closet sales. Annette’s goal is to help readers to feel comfortable shopping vintage and understand that style is much more than picking an item at a store. Her work has been featured in Elle, Domino Magazine, Forbes, Atomic Ranch Magazine, Rachel Zoe and California Home & Design.

Check out Annette’s “Mid-Century Modern Maximalist” home, which includes a a pair of vintage nightstands that she manifested into existence, original art by Fay Singer that she found for under $100, and a vintage glass coffee table that has stood the test of time.
