Better With Age: June Upton

Our thirty-sixth episode features June Upton – a visual artist by night and creative associate at the furniture company Roll & Hill by day.

Entering her two-bedroom apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn feels like an escape to the French countryside with its charming cottagecore aesthetic, pre-war details, and squeaky, original wood floors. June’s art focuses on still life vignettes, and she is enamored by the narratives that found objects present. Fittingly, most of her furniture and decor is vintage and antique.

Tour June’s home and check out her favorite old things, including a vintage ceramic glove form and an antique cedar-lined industrial trunk.
