Better With Age: Naomi Otsu

In celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we’re shining a light on creatives in our community whose heritages inspire them in their crafts.

Our eleventh episode features Naomi Otsu, a graphic designer and illustrator whose work has been featured in New York Magazine, Bon Appétit, Playboy.com, Vogue.com, and more. Born in New York and raised in Tokyo, her work features a colorful array of subjects inspired by the cities and her multicultural upbringing. Naomi’s uplifting work is a gentle reminder that you can find fun and playfulness in everyday life. Check out her home, which includes a rare vintage lamp collection featuring a Peter Bliss Tulip Lamp and a Ferrari Toucan lamp, plus a plethora of mini chairs and eggs. Follow along as we feature more cherished old things from those in the know.
